He will probably get his shot. Mark Elliot won't be there for long...I'd be nervous if I was somebody's 4th pick in a weak application pool.
I hope it's true that Kareem Streete Thompson is coming to Texas to assist with coaching. I hear that he is a great coach and can recruit as well. I can see Texas men & women sprints and hurdlers be back on top in the coming seasons.

So it sounds like Texas has a head coach, sprint coach, jumps coach. They should have a couple more to hire. What is the word on distance?

PERFECT! Another Coach Li! He can "develop" the hell out of Kenyans, but can he develop the home grown Midwest(with the occasional Canadian) female recruit that is a C level or B level recruit at best? We will see!

You obviously don't know much about him. He had a 16:01 girl from Nebraska. Two 16:35 girls from Pennsylvania. Another sub 17 girl from Virginia. Plenty of history with development of American kids but you're just too lazy to check. It's easier to shoot off at the mouth with ignorance.
Temple distance was filled. Not sure about throws.
Also was that UNC-C distance a misprint, or does UNC Charlotte have an opening? I am sure you meant Greensboro but I guess I could be wrong? And dare we begin speculating over who takes over for UConn women?
