Well, I don't have a citation for you, but Tom Bossert just said that on one of the weekend news shows, and with a little bit of research, I can only find stuff that is back in the spring that talks about how renewable energy jobs are on fire in Texas while the oil industry is tanking. Texas, of all places, is the No. 1 state for renewable energy.

Covid 19 will linger putting an increasing strain on the social fabric of the nation, causing the country to experience an economic depression. The stock market will lose at least 65% over the next year. Politicians and the Fed will be blamed for the social and economic turmoil. A new generation of politicians will be born from the challenges of a country that kicked the can down the road for too many decades.

In 2012 Obama's record was not great. The Auto Industry bailout was initiated and signed into law by Bush. Romney was extremely successful as a governor, as a business leader and running the Olympics among many other achievements. Romney was vastly more qualified than Obama who before the election had outright lied that the Libya embassy attack was a spontaneous response to an american minister burning a Quran. Obama was pitched as the washington outsider who has been against the Iraq war. This worked for two election cycles. It was stunning that after this worked the Dems would pick Hillary; the consummate washinton insider who was very much in favor of the iraq war. Obama winning definitely opened the door for Trump; previous to Obama you pretty much had to be a governor (Carter, Reagan, Bush 2, Clinton) to have any experience approximating that required to be president.
Trump has proved you can be very successful as President with no previous political experience.

There are more registered Democrats in the US right now. Young people are registering as Democrats in much larger numbers than they are registering as Republicans. Many Republicans have left the party and either are Democrats or Independents.

What parts of that are good?
1) That he believes Republicans will hold the Senate? Based on what? Democrats have at least a 70% chance of gaining majority in the Senate. Clear evidence that Trump is dragging Republicans up and down the ticked down with him.
2) The Biden-Harris Administration will struggle? Again, based on what? More so than Trump's Administration has struggled? More so than Trump's Administration would struggle if he's elected again? He hasn't said one word about what his plans are for a second term. No agenda at all. WTF? Trump's incompetence has put our country in a hole that would be a struggle for anyone. At least Biden and Harris will work and not spend hours every day watching television and tweeting and heading off to other states to play golf to the tune of hundreds of millions of US tax payer dollars.
3) Why would COVID-19 linger? The Orange One said we will have a vaccine in weeks and that the "General" knows how to distribute it! Igy, are you telling me that The Orange One lies?! THAT can't be true!
4) The Stock Market. Igy has long proven himself to know NOTHING about the stock market. He is a permabear. NO chance that the market will drop 65% in the next year.
5) The TRUMP Administration kicked the can down the road way more than any other President in a 4-year term. The tax cuts for the super rich and corporations at the beginning of his term when we were still riding the excellent economy handed to him by Obama was ridiculous. Not needed, and now we don't have a safety valve there where needed.
