The mask issue became one because of the boob acting currently as the POTUS. It's likely that anyone following this idiot would have a problem trying to deal with the problem because the "followers" of said boob will not cooperate. Had the boob simply gone along with the medical people from very early on...once it was said that "mask up" should be what we're doing.....he not only likely would have helped the situation on multiple fronts but he'd have guaranteed his re-election.

P is right. Other countries were faced with the same situation and did much better with even less lead time. There was failure at both the federal and state levels.
