If you define "economy" by combination of GDP growth, unemployment, value of stocks then Trump has a very valid claim that he presided over the best economy in history. When Trump won in 2016 the DOW was 17,000 and the value of all US stocks was about $40 trillion. It is now up about 60% or $24 trillion so yes, based on the these key measures, before COVID it was unprecedented but the lefties hated trump even before COVID. My question is, how many did you think would die in the States from the Chinese virus? Canada, with a very strong health care system, has 10,000 deaths so far. The states is 10x the size so you got to figure at least 100,000. Add to that many older people retire in the warm states of the US and they are more susceptible to dying from covid, more cities that have higher populations and 200,000 although tragic, is very expected. Don't forget, Biden complained when the border was shut down and called it racist. Had trump tried to do more it's entirely likely the backlash would have been greater.
By the way, is that list of "lies" being amended for the fact we now know there was spying and the russian collusion allegations were lies?
