I already made a thread about this but I think that the CA T&F CIF state meet should be canceled. Temperatures will be at highs of 104F and 101F on the days of the pre-lims and finals and I think those levels are too high to hold a meet in.
They should just have it at Santa Cruz lol. The weather in SC is amazing (but bipolar- some days it’s rainy, some days it’s hot- I go to school there so Ik lol).

So you making a dumb post once wasn't enough? You needed to make the same dumb post again? Give me a break. The state meet is NOT going to be cancelled.
Yo, I went to the meet in Clovis a few years back it was over 110 that. Meet went on just fine. Stop complaining.
For you older timer remember one years at Cerritos it rained a little in the morning & the postponed the meet a week? Now that was crazy...no rain at scheduled start time.
I am looking at his athletic. The only time he broke 4 was during his SENIOR year (yes I saw his unattached)
I don't get your point. His athletic.net profile, on the unattached page, says as a junior he ran 3:59.51 at the Brooks PR Mile. Are you saying that somehow doesn't count?

They have rules now a days where they can't compete over a certain temp and will modify accordingly for safety.
They won't "cancel" the meet because some guy on LR said they should a week in advance though.
Yes. Through the NFHS paid website. Last week they didn't have sound and had 1 video operator.
This week there's sound and still just 1 video operator providing zapruder like video quality. There are 2 guys commentating. It is as if they found a guy off the streets to provide commentary, he got a buddy of his that teaches shop and is the jv basketball coach. Cringeworthy commentary.
Conor Lott (Clovis North) just cranked out a 4:05.80 1600m with Luke Sanders (Buchanan) was right behind with a 4:06.35 at the Central Section Masters! They both passed Pete Romero of Reedley to be ranked #4 and #5 in Section history!
SJS on top once again. 4 qualifiers in the 1600 (J Stream: 4:10, Hoferer: 4:11, Kadel: 4:11, and C Stream: 4:12). 5 qualifiers in the 800 (Alberts: 1:51, Barr (Placer representing once again- haven’t gotten a distance state qualifier since 2018 with Adam Fragola): 1:51, Heyer: 1:51, Mobley 1:52, Winston: 1:53)😮💨
