Support which ever charity you like, but at least do it in an honest way, otherwise you discredit yourself and the charity. This man seems to have gone over the top with his embellishments and been economical with the truth.
At least now he's being watched and the so called LEJOG WR effort will be a bit of a farce but Dave will still be a hero for putting himself out there and will say it's motivated him to attempt bigger and better things in the future.
As someone on the ultra FB site said, he would have been better to have been honest with his past phony achievements and his expectations for this run because he would have garnered more respect.
