2:09:50s for me. This shows 2 new angles. They show the Ethiopian looking left and contacting Robby with his elbow, throwing Robby off. It is a tough judgement call. Looks to me like Robby had a lane and wasn't fully boxed in. I'll try to capture them for everyone to see and argue about.

Hello everyone, I'm writing to update on Robby's appeal. The jury could not find enough evidence to support reinstating him. Unfortunately, this is the end of Olympic experience. Thank you to those with positive words and your help in providing evidence to substantiate his case. I know Robby has come a long way and use this race as something to build upon. Ben and Matthew will certainly represent USA well on Saturday night!

Should have never come down to this anyway. Not in a bad spot though out, cannot expect to get Nick Willis miracle on inside. Even he got lucky.

All I can say is that it's not that easy...

He consistently is not in a good position or is out of contention towards the end of races. He should have medaled at world indoors. Sad but his own fault.

Here are two more NBC angles that I'm sure you've seen but that I wanted to add to the debate.

I was really excited to see Robby in the final, but I am confident his best days are ahead. With a little more confidence and the tactical shifts that will bring, his kick will bring home some big hardware.

Watched the race live. Watched it again a couple times.

He tried to pass on the inside where he did not have room.

Clear DQ. No valid appeal. This isn't a "spirit of the rule" or "it didn't provide an advantage" situation. He clearly didn't have room and stepped inside. DQ.

Andrews could be a medal threat if he improves his positioning.

Also the Kenyan cuts off Centro on his dash to get 1st. Stay in your ****ing imaginary lane. Don't drift over towards Centro and shoulder rub in goddamn semi. Idiot.

He is still not a good enough tactician. He should have been in the first few the whole way and then moved. He is good enough to do that. Instead he fell back to 10th at the end of the race. He put himself in the wrong place and then made a mistake. I knew when I saw him step off the track he was going to be DQd. He still has a lot to learn. He was happy like he had made it.

There has been 5 men's 1500s run and I only saw this one. I wanted to see all of them.

At least he went for it when he saw that tiny opening, I have to give him credit for that. Many people wouldn't have forced it and then would whine about it. He went for it. That mentality will pay off eventually.

He just needs to stiffen that right arm and throw strong uppercuts if he passes like that the next time. This works well on a busy Manhattan street when your going for the obstructed pass through a crowd of pedestrians. This way you don't lose your balance and give ground. You fight thru the contact like an NFL WR without the obvious push off. It's basically a "man up" move.

You can see his left elbow hits Andrews and he reacts instantly by moving up and out and then stepping inside unfortunately - natural human reaction. The real problem is Andrews is just too damn nice of a guy to slam anybody back or punch and push his way through to the line. This is so unfair for him.

THIS Totally SUCKS!!!!

Andrews has terrible positional sense -- putting himself in position to make a move or react to a move -- and terrible tactical sense -- when and where to make a move. Centro's great at both. In a slow semifinal, you want to be at the front of the pack when the kicking starts because it is just too difficult to pick yourself through a field when everyone is kicking. Centro knows this. He gets in position before the kicking. When the kicking starts he only has to react to the 2 or 3 people around him while Andrews has to fight through most of the field. People saying Andrews had passed the Ethiopian because his chest was in front then would have to agree that Farah had passed Mead and NOT caused his fall.
