Lost a lot of respect for Solomon. No problem if he wants to take it out hard but if you have trouble, keep going to the finish. No reason to have a 3:08 when you are with the leaders with 75-80 to go. No respect for the event, yourself, or your competitors.

I must have missed that, from the many replays it looked like he just slowed to a jog, then a walk, then stopped, and is walking around fine afterwards. I really think he quit.

The Twilight Zone thing is pretty much a reference to his coach who used to take his competitors to the "Grey Zone" (with mixed but sometimes effective results). I like Solomon a lot, but in the age of Rudisha, sub 50 doesn't shock people like it used to.
