My 15 yr old son stole my car last night while I was sleep........How should I punish him???

Sorry, there's a difference between genuine theft and a dad who can't communicate with and regulate his son.

If your 35 year-old deadbeat brother takes your car without asking and you never see it again, theft.

If your 15 year-old brat takes your car without permission and brings it back, not theft. Again, do you think the police would follow up with charges on these ninnies?

Your kid sounds boring. We were doing this when we were 13. But anyway....make him wait 6 months to get his drivers license and make him pay for his own insurance. Let him know this mistake could've been costly and your monthly premium could've gone way up.
