Christo Landry was 46:58. Jake Riley and Patrick Rizzo were 47:21 at 15k.

Christo said he was looking for a 4 - 4:30 PR which would put him in the 2:10 range. Through 20km he was on 2:12mid pace

Ok looks like 5 seconds slow on the tracking, they look to be picking it up after 20k (turning 90 degrees from the headwind) - looks good

Setting up a good negative split opportunity

Why cant they put this crap on after the elites finish?

OK I'm gonna chime in on this once and then just leave it.

Normally, I give announcers the benefit of the doubt. After all, it's gotta be a bit tough to keep a marathon exciting for an audience - especially in the earlier bits.

But this has to be the most atrocious commentating I've ever seen in my entire life. I am literally cringing watching how nervous, incompetent, stuttering and just flat-out screechy (Joan Benoit - I'd rather listen to Edward Scissorhands scratch one-billion chalkboards) than this.

I mean... this is just absolutely horrible. How hard can it be to find at least 2-3 runners who know how to string together a sentence? And not make marathoning seem so (and I HATE this word) "hobby-jog" like?

Steve Jones was refreshing to hear but all the rest... man... what a bunch of wank.
