Thoughts on Woody Allen sexual abuse claims?

He's labelling people on here "retards" first based on minimal information ( while claiming to teach a gifted program).

People have taken the information given to them and formed opinions about Allen and our illustrious "Soccer god and Math Genius".

I think it's safe to say that people would be reluctant to have this guy teach their kid anything based on his comments on here.

I know I would.

He was expelled from his position for a reason. If you are involved in schools, or have a child in one, you know that these sorts of accusations are very damaging and there are procedures in place to deal with them.

The other thing that matters here is public opinion.

That's why the story is out - to discredit Woody Allen and make people hate him.

And if this is true, he deserves it.

If not, that sucks for him.

The girl's life is not going to better for this.

Marrying Mia Farrow's daughter is not the heinous crime. I thought is was exceptionally creepy before I even heard the other accusations.

I don't even need to come to a conclusion on the molestation charges. There are enough KNOWN facts for me to decide that I don't want to watch any of his movies. Mia Farrow may be as nutty as a jar of Jif, but I still think Allen is a disturbed creep.

He took pornographic pictures of a 19-20 year old girl and began a relationship with her while STILL involved with her mother, a woman with whom he had three children. When he married Soon-Yi, he married his children's sister. As Ronan Farrow tweeted "Happy father's day -- or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law's day." Anybody out there with a half- or adopted sister through a step-parent that wouldn't have a few reservations with your birth father marrying her? The thought is so absurd, that last sentence barely makes sense. Having a step-parent myself, the whole notion turns my stomach, and it wouldn't have made a bit of difference if my birth parent and step parent had decided to not marry and just dated for 20 years. ICK!

It would be no different if Kurt Russell dumped Goldie Hawn and married Kate Hudson, or Tim Robbins married Susan Sarandon's daughter.
