Adrienne Herzog Doping acusation

However, Adriana nelson and Adrienne Herzog used to bo facebookfriends. They did some workouts together and shared pictures of the workouts.

But somehow they are no friends anymore.

Did you read the article? Did you comprehend the article? What did he do that was irresponsible?

1. Hudson accepted Herzog into his training group who was clouted in controversy putting all his clean athletes in a compromising position. For example, Pirtea's name is now associated with Herzog's doping even though there is no mention of Pirtea's name in any of the emails.

2. Hudson continually looked the other way and even encourages Herzog having success at road races. Ignorance is no excuse having known her history.

3. The article with the condemning emails comes out. Herzog is caught red and handed and then Hudson asks her to leave the group only at the bitter end when Rizzo and Pritz meet with him and force him to make a public statement.

If Hudson was a college football coach he would have been canned on the spot.

So yea I guess what he did was responsible and he did exactly the right thing...

So is there a doping investigation or just a tabloid accusal?

If there is no WADA follow up, then there is nothing to see here.

The Dutch ADA thinks this is serious enough to start their investigation. Dutch Athletics Federation is saying just enough, and not a word too many. New top manager, but same board members as the past.

Herzog's lawyer already sent the federation a letter going into out of competition testing and negative tests, which they were not queried on at all. Not sure what that was all about.

A lawyer connected to the Dutch Olympic Committee has come out saying that in this case Herzog should worry, burden of proof for the ADA's case is lower than in legal proceedings. The emails may just as well serve as sufficient proof of doping.

I think tabloid is cutting this story short. It's a hollywood block buster if you ask me. If only Herzog would actually achieve something on the track... It may still make for a nice micro budget Dutch film though. But how to get Natalie Portman for that...

Adrienne Herzog was astounded to hear about the article in Vrij Nederland entitled “Adrienne Herzog, de atlete en de doping-mails” (Adrienne Herzog, the athlete and the doping e-mails).

This biased article makes mention of a number of e-mails sent under a false name, which allegedly came into the possession of the reporter involved in a roundabout way, and which allegedly are to be attributed to Ms. Herzog. The reporter even goes so far as to claim that he used this false name so as to represent himself as Ms. Herzog in communications with a doping dealer. My client is extremely upset at being publicly disgraced in such an artificial (and, journalistically, highly questionable) manner.

She emphatically denies having used doping, pointing out that she is in the National Testing Pool, which means that she can be tested at any time and without notice. Over the past few years, Adrienne Herzog has undergone dozens of doping tests, all of which have consistently come up negative.

She is definitely not training with Hudson again. Not sure who she is working with now though.

Yes, do the right thing and bar an athlete based on as yet unsubstantiated claims.

If the investigation proves her wrongdoing, then ban her, fine her, and wipe her results; but until then she should be free to train and race.

Right, bad to kick her out of a race based on "unsubstantiated rumors" (which are still bad publicity) but okay to kick her out of a training group for the same? Wuh??
