Well, VIPAM, is he?
Well, VIPAM, is he?
Mapiv how often do you dream about Vipam?

he is good enough to realistically aim at tergat's nr of 26'27
lets see how he goes
Yeah, let's see how he goes. You are an idiot and VIPAM is too. You now think similar things about Geoff Kipsang that you were thinking about Ebuya in the past.
idiot
guys like kemboi & dinkessa who had no world-dominating pedigree beforehand went 26'30 & canova, kemboi's coach mentioned that that 26'30 against geb turned into a tactical race with geb slowing it down for the sprint - wouda been at worst 26'25 if they kept going
there are other guys with similar level ability to those 2, just that they don't get such good pacing very often
ebuya had great ability but lost his form
kipsang appears more resilient as he came back from a lean year last year from previous 27'06/junior x-c title to this dominating x-c win
If you want to get a better idea of the ridiculous assertions that morons like VIPAM and Ventolin make, you need to read this thread. It will make you realize, in case you don't already, that Ventolin does NOT know what he is blathering about, and VIPAM never did, either. Ventolin is currently going crazy over the potential of the most recent world cross country champion. Read this thread to realize he has NO CLUE.

you are talking nonsense
i saw everyone of his top races & am well aware of his talent
you are making up 49s speed with nothing but a guess
being generous & giving him 3'45.0 ( probably shoudn't be offered better than 3'45.5 )
lets see, 3'45.0 with various 400s
55.00 ->1'51.0 , 3'29.6 , 7'02.6 , 11'48.5 , 23'48.4
54.00 ->1'50.0 , 3'29.4 , 7'05.9 , 11'58.7 , 24'21.2
53.00 ->1'49.0 , 3'29.2 , 7'09.3 , 12'08.8 , 24'54.0
52.00 ->1'48.0 , 3'29.0 , 7'12.6 , 12'19.0 , 25'26.8
51.00 ->1'46.9 , 3'28.8 , 7'16.0 , 12'29.2 , 25'59.6
all this shows us is that it is not feasible to run 3'45.0 off anything slower than 51.0, but the initial ridiculous times at 55.0 are slowly starting to evolve into recognisable 3 - 10k times
now, for cutting edge :
50.75 ->1'46.7 , 3'28.8 , 7'16.8 , 12'31.7 , 26'07.8
50.50 ->1'46.4 , 3'28.7 , 7'17.7 , 12'34.3 , 26'16.0
50.25 ->1'46.2 , 3'28.7 , 7'18.5 , 12'36.8 , 26'24.2
50.00 ->1'45.9 , 3'28.6 , 7'19.3 , 12'39.4 , 26'32.4
above shows it is perfectly possible for a 3'45.0 guy to run it off 50.00(+) speed
it also shows komen at his peak, if he coud run a 10k as good as his 3k/5k woudn't have done better than about 26'26 - 26'28
This is priceless. You write "probably shouldn't be offered better than 3:45.5 in the above post, and now on another thread you are giving Komen 3:44 or 3:43? That proves what a joke you are...
abcyesitistrue wrote:This is priceless
no
gold is possibly priceless
You write "probably shouldn't be offered better than 3:45.5 in the above post
yes
and now on another thread you are giving Komen 3:44 or 3:43?
clueless
komen ran 3'46
coe ran 3'47
komen got baulked twice, 2nd time so bad he ran out in 3rd lane !!!
he ran/etc/etc already mentioned
komen in '97 was in
3'43-low
That proves what a joke you are...
inept

Are there dopes on the circuit, MOST definitely.
Yes, and there are also dopes on this message board and VIPAM is clearly one of them. As for Ebuya, yes, he is a great runner but he has never shown the form of Kenenisa Bekele and for VIPAM to suggest that he has shows that he is simply bored and wanting attention...
Hi VIPAM...

We all know Kenenisa Bekele is one of the all-time greats in cross country. After looking over 2011 season which Kenenisa will be skipping a startling Joesph Ebuya seems to have improved on his form which won him the 2010 World X Title. Joesph has won fives races losing his first to Teklemariam Medhin by one second; however, since then he has been as dominant as any x-country runner. In his four wins this year Joesph has waited late to pull away and then he has destroyed the field twice winning by almost a minute against stacked fields**.
How do you think Joesph Ebuya would fare against Kenenisa Bekele in his most dominant year 2004 when he won the long race by 18 seconds and short race by 5 seconds?
**sub 26:40 runner and some sub 27 min 10kers, world track medalists, world x-country medalists, Olympic medalists, he also revenged his sold defeat of 2010 by soundly defeating Medhin in their 2011 meeting
Hahahahaha!
VIPAM knows nothing. This thread shows how little he knows.

Crickets. VIPAM is always bumping ancient threads but here he is silent due to his ignorance.
