I bet Rosie Ruiz takes the lead somewhere near mile 26 and steals the win!

Uh oh, not sure Trautwig was feuling diligently enough, Eyestone appears to have bridge the gap and is making his move. Al is in shambles mindlessly mumbling about smoots and hairpin turns...

I think Trautwig is being a little too dramatic- and I'm surprised that Eyestone isn't reeling him in at all.
whatever happened to kate? she looked like she couldn't handle the break.
You really think Boulet's gonna crash? She may not win but I think she'll be top 3.
boulet lost 7 secs on kastor in the last few minutes.
You talkin about Toni Reavis? He knows his stuff, one could say.

Who's the guy doing the lead announcing? He seems not to understand that a 2:00 lead with 10 to go guarantees absolutely nothing, as he keeps insisting that the chase pack is fighting for 2 spots. His voice is familiar.
Mile 17 Split: Lewy Boulet drops the pace another second to 5:39 (last few miles have been 5:42, 5:40, 5:39). Kastor hits 5:40 and loses a second!
I do, but don't know if she'll hold on for third because Deena and Russell are opening a gap to fourth.
Davila goes into 4th. Another Hanson's late race charge to make the team?
Starting to eat away into the lead. Deena is starting to roll. Blake Russell looks good but is vulnerable I think. Particularly for anyone who was holding off till the last 10 miles or so
The race is really on now. The Hansen baggy shorts girl is stalking Blake.

not to be smartass about it, but Shorter always says the race begins at 20 miles. So my question is, how much have the leaders been able to get their bottles/aid easily and regularly? Did Boulet pass by hers cause she felt good and make a big mistake, or is she fueling early and often?
Davila 14 seconds behind Blake at 16 mile now 7 seconds back.
Like I said, take the field. Hansons likely to get another Olympian.
Go Desi!
