Thanks jsquire, you on site?
Fryberg getting TV Time!
I have it a 40 second gap from Boulet to the pack (using crosswalks to measure from TV).
Shades of the men's trials, with Boulet playing the role of Michael Wardian. But seriously, might she run away with the race? When do the other big dogs (Kastor, O'Neill) come out to play?
Nope. At home.
Not that anything happening right now would mean much, but half the fun of watching these things is the chatter we generate. Is anyone anywhere live blogging? I can't find any.
Is there an online athlete tracker for the women's trials race?
Ryan Hall is not the american record holder, please NBC correct that.
I get a black screen for nbcsports.com and I am registered with them, anything else I should do?
So when does Deena make her move? Won't let it go this slow for long I would guess

I'm guessing Deena would like to make the team in the easiest way possible, so if one runner wants to go it won't bother her much.
Man these guys are struggling. I thought Eyestone was easier to listen too. These guys are really into hairpin turns...
are you using AOL or Explorer?
At what point does Boulet gap becomes significant? 15, 16, 17 miles?
but he is the record holder for the half.
I think she minimally want to make the team in the easiest way but she clearly wants the win. So, some interesting internal dialog must be going on. "Do I let this pack just fall away and maintain, or go get the leader?" My guess is she will keep Magdalena within a couple of minutes, wait for the pack to attrit, then start to reel her in after 17 or 18.
Why isn't Lynn Jennings covering this race. She did such a good job at the men's trials.
This is playing right into Deena's hands. I don't think anyone is worried about Magdelena isn't she running at a pace 13 minutes faster than her qualifying time?
All these out and backs would suck for someone trying to steal this thing.
2:42 pr --- 23 miles?? agree Kastor will not chase a lone leader.
choppy coverage on more like still shot every .2 secs.
The link to the trials online at nbcolympics.com isnt letting me in to watch the race! anyone else have ideas?
