I wouldn't know. "Fan" is obviously a bit of an understatement. I've seen some trivial topics posted here, but this comes close to taking the cake.

Yes, you would, and remember that admitting the problem is the very first step towards the cure.

The "fan" in question also happens to be an extremely knowledgable and dedicated coach in his own right, with more than 20 years of experience under his belt. Perhaps you shouldn't be quite so judgmental and dismissive.
But of course, a topic like this one pales in comparison to the relevance of somebody whining about "why does the message board black-screen so much?"

I guess you would know.

Well, if you say so. Looks like more of a weirdo fanboy topic to me and I've never seen evidence of any of the rest. Doesn't mean that it doesn't exist, just that it doesn't show. Can't see how the other topic is less relevant or useful.

wow, thats really sad. dude, i think that i hear Steveu calling ya.
Go back to calling yourself hypocrisy, troll, it was more apt.

I hate to disappoint you kid, but that wasn't me. Believe me, I would be only TOO happy to take the credit if it was!
It seems as though your over-enlarged ego has blinded you from reality. You cannot quite comprehend the possibility that there might be more than one person on these boards who doesn't appreciate jerks whose entire "contribution" to a thread consists of going out of there way to write condescending one-liners about the topic author.
Yeah, you're so far above something like that. As a free person you're allowed to be wrong.

Contrary to popular belief, many people on these boards are NOT first-class trolls hiding behind a dozen different screen names.
However, my login name here was aimed strictly at YOU, and you have certainly lived up to the hype! You have the audacity to label me a troll, when your initial input into this entire discussion was strictly cynical & condescending:

Christ, you people are obsessive.
You know, it's really a shame. You are obviously rather intelligent and articulate, but you just can't seem to resist making disparaging remarks about others on a whim. What a waste.
I believe ya!
Hope you and your pals will be okay, you think you'll live?
1. Galen Rupp
2. Shadrack Kiptoo-Biwott
3. Diego Mercado
4. Pat Werhane
5. Carlos Trujillo
6. Kenny Klotz
7. Chris Winter

Take a look at this men's roster and give us your list for which Ducks will be their top 7 at NCAAs.
Try to put them in order and bookmark this thread to refer back to on November 20th.
From Hayward 102:
1. Kiptoo
2. Rupp
3. Werhane
4. Acosta
5. Winter
6. Klotz
7. Stern
From Duck Fan:
1. Kiptoo
2. Rupp
3. Werhane
4. Winter
5. Stern
6. Klotz
7. One of the Mercados
These two had the most correct Ducks from the original post. It's interesting to note how well Rupp performed given his '06 spring and summer woes. I'm impressed that both of these pickers had Stern among their picks, but neither had Trujillo.
Kiptoo obviously had some injury problems, but I'm happy to say I severly underestimated the impact Diego Mercado would have on the team. With so many young guys it is really a crapshoot, but Mercado exceeded what I thought he could do. I figured he'd be fighting with Klotz, Stoutenburgh etc. for the 6th or 7th places. The future looks bright.
I had hoped they would make top 5, so I was particularly excited to see that they had made that.
It was interesting that earlier this afternoon the goducks.com website had the men's team as having finished 6th.
As impressed as I was with their showing, I'm sure they will come away wondering what if? To be so close to the trophies and yet to be just 1 point behind Stanford has got to be a little bittersweet.
If shadrack would've run like he did as a freshman (13th), and Klotz like he did at Regianals last week... I think this oregon team could have won or been damn close to it!
But they didnt just like WISCO, what-if's suck! Better luck next year. Get well Kiptoo!
1.Rupp
2.Kiptoo
3.Chapa
4.Diego M.
5.Trujillo
6.Klotz
7.Acosta
It's a shame to see possibly the 2 most talented c/o 07 runners redshirt just becuase they went to a college with such nasty depth.
How come no one has Jordan McNamara in their top 7?
this is the line up
1. Rupp
2. Diego Mercado
3. Kenny Klotz
4. Aj Accosta
5. scott wall
6. Carlos Trujillo
7. Kipto biwott
not in any particular order.
No way

This was a thread that was begun last (fall'06) XC season. This year is going to be all the more difficult to dope out due to even greater depth. Vin made use of several of his frosh last year. How much will Hall and Centrowitz get called into action?
Chapa would seem a likely candidate to utilize his limited amount of eligibility left.
I'll go with:
1. Rupp
2. Kiptoo
3. Klotz
4. McGrath
5. Hall
6. Chapa
7. D. Mercado
How many FL finalists will never get to race outside of Eugene?
Also, harmony on that team, or discord?
