Does USADA test anyone at all? Imagine what people here would be saying if her last name was "Jepchirchir" instead...
If they did the Penn State runner with the suspicious miss at regionals that ran a 3 minute XC pr this season and over a minute 5k pr should be first in line.
Only 8:59 thru 3k, content to cruise along w/Kosgei.
Felt confident stating earlier, Jane didn't need a pacer to run in the low-14:40s.
This may be Jane's fastest 5000 for indoors, especially if her next 5000 is NCAAs.
Much faster races to come outdoors when competing against pros in time trial races paced to well under 9/3k.
That long kick was impressive. Looking forward to seeing if she can squeeze Lemngole in the 5 at Indoor Champs. Maybe we'll see both in the Millrose 3000m as well.

Breaking Tuohy's 8:35.20/3000 absolute CR -- when 2nd place on the AT list is Vicki Huber's 8:37.25 from the 1988 Oly Games while no other collegian in history has even broken 8:40.00 -- would be an incredible achievement for any woman in NCAAs today, including Lemngole, but downright unbelievable for a 19-year-old freshman.
However, this past June at NON, Jane split 8:40.03 en route to her 9:17.75/2M HS record. This, following her 14:57/5000 HS record at Bryan Clay a couple months earlier. Jane's much faster now -- at least 13 seconds faster in the 5000 -- so taking 5 seconds off her 3000 pr would seem to be within her reach.
Guess we'll all be schedule-watching come January.
