This was a major road race. I found it ‘interesting’ they could get beat by Rodenfels in those times, even if not peaking.

No, I don’t mean ‘major’ major, but the top 4 were taking it seriously, at least somewhat. But the defending champ Rodenfels, likely had this one penciled in on her calendar for many months in advance.
NB runners are contractually obligated to be there. Wouldn't expect much of a race out of any or all of them. Wouldn't be surprised to see a DNS for Valby, maybe others.
