The race for bronze in the heptathlon will be how much faster Johnson-Thompson runs than Brooks. She has a PB almost 10 seconds faster than Brooks.

No they weren't but good fake news.
The were DQ'd for incorrect starting position on one of the changeovers. (Feet before the blue lines)
Same as Australia and Brazil.
They did not impede the US, they had right of way.
