Wooooooow Laros. He is def the favorite going into world's now. I think Nuguse could have beaten Koech and gotten second if he didn't get shuffled back at the start, but he wasn't beating Laros
Great race, Laros shows both speed and strength. To my eyes he totally controlled that race, positioned very well and finished so strong. What was his last lap? 53ish?
Kessler pretty disappointing in that 1500. I generally liked his positioning, but when people started flying by him with 200 to go, he just mailed it in. He's an intriguing athlete, in that he has great speed, but seemingly doesn't deal with pace changes and disruptions in his rhythm very well. He races best when there's someone at the front turning it into a pure time trial (e.g. Jakob, Nuguse).
If Nuguse wants a chance at winning the DL final next week, he absolutely can’t be starting in the back and running on the outside for most of the race. Needs to start in the top three and stay on the inside.

I think he's gotta be. This was a scorching last 200 even after an early move that would've taken more out of a less athlete.
