WTF, so Thomas was only in there as a pacemaker and he couldnt even keep them on the 13:01 qualifying time?
Not his fault? Maybe if he’d been running behind the racers with a cattle prod.

Is Tinch on the sauce?
I guess the only way to know is he pissed hot or if he starts wearing a t-shirt that proclaims "I'm on the sauce!"
GRANT MF FISHER for second
Lalo Herrera in 3rd. If WC’s is slow, watch for him

I'm guessing a combination of the weather and the quick turnaround time from Silesia. Here are the times from the two meets:
- Naser: 49.27 at Silesia -> 51.08 today
- Jaeger: 49.83 -> 50.09
- Bukowiecka: 50.16 -> 51.19
- Holmes: 50.18 -> 50.73
- Williams: 50.65 -> 53.05
Klaver is the only one who ran at Silesia who ran faster today: 50.53 -> 50.17.
Klaver was the only athlete that committed; her split was 23.28 at 200m, while next fastest was Wilson way down in 23.99. No one else broke 24.
No matter how slow your first half is, you can only go so fast in your second 200m. Basic school girl error by the majority of the field.
As for Naser, it looked to me like she was striding it out and wasn't taking it seriously. Whether that was just the weather, fatigue, instructions by her coach or back into a heavy training phase, who knows. But you can bet she will be ready come Tokyo.
Anyway...Paulino will win after that impressive 22.43 over 200m
Wow Kimeli absolutely destroyed everybody the last 100m.
Isaac Kimeli ftw???? Not much form to speak of this year before beating Fisher
entertaining last lap
Your typical Belgium, USA, Mexico 1-2-3 in the Diamond League 5000m.
love to hear the announcer criticizing GFs tactics. he is getting too comfortable going late.
Smart Kimeli. Caught Fisher by surprise!
Kimeli!!!
Absolutely destroys LR's lovechild Fisher!
What a kick!
Gebrhiwet with the EXACT SAME mistake as the olympic final lmao
Yeahhh a 3:57 closing mile should remedy that at Worlds

Ethiopia should dump Hagos off their 5000 team immediately. His last 200 is completely broken! Tefera has a clue at least:
Does anyone think Jakob will lose the 5000 at worlds? I think even at 80% he still wins depending on the tactics.

Well, that seals it.
No Zurich DL final for Grant.
Graham 8th gets 1 point, upping his DL points total to 9. He was in 10th/last place going into this race so Graham may race Zurich.

if you are listening to the international feed, even Cram was very subtly like "hmmm, that's an interesting final 100 - wink wink"
