I posed several possibilities. Too complicated for you.
And 1 factual statement, a wrong one: GDR 1500m men were not amongst the fastest at the time (3:33.68 NR up to '87).
Jurgen May '65, 0.2 off the world mile record. Straub, silver in the 1500 at Moscow, ahead of Ovett. But on the point you argue, who really gives a f***?

Yes, we all know you really don't give a f*** about facts.
1965! That's what he has found to defend his wrong claim (he knows it's wrong) that GDR runners were amongst the fastest in the 1500m. Dumbstrong in full flow!
The answer to “Where did he come from?” is doping. Sorry to anyone who thinks otherwise. You can be as naive as you please but once testing ramps up around Worlds this guy will disappear.
Anyone who thinks he’s actually 18 is naive too - but that’s another point entirely.
Pretty obvious he was doped to the max at the start of the season and it's gradually wearing off, although he's almost certainly still micro-dosing. It will be interesting to see how Wanyouni goes in the 800m now. If he doesn't win again, then it's a real sign that the AIU have been cracking down on Berardelli's camp.
