Well, those three states would form a new country that would have wealth that we can hardly imagine, supported by the absolutely crazy high fees that they could charge the United States to transport goods from the Pacific Ocean, through their ports, on their roads and into the U.S.
The Democrats are increasingly captured by educated coastal elites, who are terribly out-of-touch with regular people who do regular jobs and can't afford to live in a postmodern la-la land. The gender stuff is just one example. Unregulated immigration is another. White collar professionals aren't going to be fighting for decent wages or public programs because migrants aren't going to settle in their neighborhoods and outstrip the available resources.
I am a white collar professional who has settled in a middle-class neighborhood. Did I replace a more deserving US-born worker at my current job? Probably, although my job could have easily gone to another immigrant. Am I outstripping the available resources? I don't think so. I pay my tax like all my neighbors do, and I only receive benefits available to other people.
GOP has been working very hard to prevent people like myself from coming to this country and settling here. I am not entirely safe, either, although I have been a US citizen for nearly a decade.

I can see how you've come to this conclusion but I think you're forgetting that the number of male participants ≠ the number of people affected. A male competing in a female competition affects fairness and safety for every single female participant, whereas you're only counting the male. To put it bluntly, if I have 99 hens and I let one fox into the hen house, is the fox just a "1%" problem?

No Hate here!...Just common sense. Yet, no one talks about how discouraged and deflated the girls were who trained and competed against someone who literally CHEATED them out of the recognition they deserved.
This isn't about "hate", it's about irresponsible parenting of young people who are trying to find themselves and who they are as individuals. There are so many other ways to accomplish this, and by forcing a personal agenda on to others is NOT acceptable or responsible. Oregon, California, and other states recognize a third division called Unity. It was created so that athletes with physical and developmental issues can compete in high school sports. Can the definition of this division be expanded to include transgender athletes?
As an example, this would allow the transgender jumper from Oregon to compete as a girl, but her placement/score is tallied separately. She gets a state champion medal and doesn’t keep the true eighth place female off of the podium. For a few dollars worth of metal/ribbon and two minutes added to a medal ceremony, it seems far cleaner and more fair than the current set up.
If the athlete in question is a sprinter, then utilize lane 9 if available. If not, award the eighth place medal and points to the fastest non-qualifier from the prelims.

I previously said if it’s below 1% of winners nationwide then it’s much ado about very little. That means 1% would be my tipping point. It will probably never reach that level because the population of kids who are both transgender and athletic enough to win a girls state championship in track is less than 1%.

June Eastwood finished 60th out of 130 runners in the 2019 Mountain Region XC race and was not anywhere near qualifying for nationals. How was she more than a .77% problem? Did it ruin the season for the runner that was bumped from 60 to 61?
