Part of the problem (for distance events) is all these meets are in places catered to sprints/jumps. You've got Jamaica, south Florida. Without looking at the rest of the schedule I'll assume there's one in Texas, maybe Atlanta, Southern California during the day. All of these are going to be pretty warm, great for sprints, bad for distance. It wouldn't be shocking to see fast sprinters putting up a 19.8 or 9.8, or sub 13 110H, but distance won't have anything good. I feel like distance fans are the biggest fans of track and field though. There are more big distance track fans than there are big fans from other events. However distance fans have the entire sport of road racing and marathon running, so it dilutes our track distance interest a little bit since we have other races to look at.
