Would it really be that much of a pain for them to run more than 4 people per heat in the 200? Obviously the turns are a little tight in the inner lanes, but it's a bit ridiculous to delay the meet because some mediocre sprinters (26s in the 200, 37 in the 300) want to run a tenth of a second faster. Or the meet directors can take the small heat sizes into account and space the events out more.
