For you old timers, Larry James (1968 400M Olympics) was described as being so smooth that it was like watching cream being poured onto a ballroom floor. For you historians, the runner who lit the torch in the 1936 Olympics was chosen for his beautiful form.
In more recent times, I'd choose Wilson Kipketer and David Rudisha. Rudisha had an incredibly powerful form, but smooth as silk.
I always thought Letesenbet Gidey had some of the most beautiful form I've ever seen. Particularly during her half marathon WR, never seen a woman make 4:48 pace look so smooth and easy
Came here as well to say Gidey. Absolutely Smooth. On the American side I always found that Emily Sisson looks amazing when viewed from a side angle.
I used to wonder how shorter people could keep up with the long strides of taller runners. Leo answered that for me: superb conditioning, perfect economy of stride, effortless looking, and deceptively quicker leg speed. Talk about "cool!"

Connor Mantz and Grant fisher tops the list for the worse running forms but strangely these 2 seems running faster than everybody else. Are they doping?

Love the way Mantz runs. He looks like he is near sprinting the whole time he is running a marathon.
