Dude the ONLY people who will be against this are the trans. So we will see who is still ranting
Really? Look at all the vitriol on this board against "nonbinary" division in road races . Are they all written by trans people? I didn't know so many trans people posted on this board. /s
Why should a dude in a bra running a 20 minute 5k get the same prize money as East African runners running sub 14 at altitude? Look at Hiltz’s pride 5k
“Cis” is a slur, but are you admitting that the only actual women are cis?
Do you also think "heterosexual" or "straight" to be a slur?
How about "able-bodied" or "nondisabled"? Is it a slur?
When people say "native-born Americans" to distinguish them from naturalized Americans, is it a slur? Why can't we just call them as "Americans"?
No. “Cis” is woke language and I have no desire to pander to people’s delusions and pretend they are valid. Straight / non disabled is just normal language.

I am assuming you are saying that this "dude in a bra" won the prize money at this "Hiltzs pride 5k." In this case, if for nothing else the organizers recognize that she deserves better than what she probably receives on a daily basis, which is hatred. However, the main reason she would have won the money is because she won the race. If the East African runners ran in her division, they would have won the money.

How is straight any more normal than cis? That makes 0 sense.
Yes. The non-functioning organ they give you is not a vagina, and it's fraudulent if they claim it is.
Obviously it is fully functioning, they no longer have any other way to go pee. And in regards to having children, the vagina does not carry the baby. And either way there are experimental procedures to make that possible too

It is the opposite of a wound. A wound causes severe damage to the human body. This does not. If anything, it heals the mind. Whether or not you believe trans exists, you cannot argue that GR surgery helps the mental health of most trans people who underwent it.
So you're viewing reality from a lens of "if no one can tell I'm really a man then I'm a woman". Makeup, costumery and other special effects are able to fool some people, but not all. You are a man playing dress up, just because you also suffer from myriad mental conditions doesn't give you the right enforce how other perceive you.
Your personal pronouns, like everyone else, are I, me and my. I wish no ill on anyone, trans or not, but no one has the right to dictate how others perceive reality. Trans people need to get over themselves, grow up and move on. That is all.
You dress according to your gender. This means you are dictating reality just as much as me. Everything anyone does dictates how other people view reality. And as mentioned, it has been proven time after time that trans people do not have a mental disability. And yes, I can fool all. Without medical testing, you would be unable to discern from a group of women if any of them are trans assuming any trans people in the group do everything I mentioned.
Trans ideation IS a mental pathology, you claiming the contrary doesn't change the basic fact.
But I'll play along. So apparently you're a "drag-master" and no one would ever be able to tell you're guy masquerading as a woman. Are you secure enough in your "gender" to allow others to exist in their own reality and address you with 2nd or 3rd person pronouns based on how they perceive you (rather than how you wish to be perceived) without throwing a petulant tantrum?

Unless you have a doctorates decree is psychology, you cannot claim it to be a mental pathology. But yes, I would be comfortable with people addressing me with pronouns based on how they perceive me. It has been over a decade since ANYONE has addressed me using masculine pronouns (aside from on here but if you've noticed I have never called them out), because no one inspects every person so thoroughly to figure out if they are trans or not. Not only would that be a gross invasion of privacy, it is also illegal. So anyone who has opinions about gender would address me using my pronouns. And it seems like you transphobic people are he ones throwing a tantrum about trans people trying to exist in their own reality.

slight innacuracy
They simply decided to reclassify an established known mental pathology due to "stigma" and other social concerns. Wasn't morbid obesity reclassified for similar "social" concerns? Hardly scientific.

I have eyes. It’s blindingly obvious to see a dude in a dress.
how many trans people do you see on a daily basis? And if you don't mind, can you tell me what state you're in (or at least west coast, east coast, south, or north)?

This is SOOO funny beyond description. When you see an obvious "dude in a dress" you notice it. But when you see a totally passing trans woman, you don't even know whether you have seen a trans woman.
