Taylorsville with second at Bob Firman what happened Rocky Mountain

Maybe Rocky Mountain is just overrated?
3 factors here:
1. Rocky Mountain is overrated
2. The Southwest is insane. Taylorsville is no random team, winning Border Wars over teams like Riverton, Orem, Davis, and Pine View, all teams that could be state champs this year, if they were in just about any other state than Utah. I think Taylorsville was previously slated at 6-7 in the Southwest, but are now clearly in the mix for the 2nd at-large.
3. Parker Goggins (normally Rocky's #3) blew up and finished 5th for the team. Hudson Godfrey (Rocky #7) also ran slower than he probably should have, although this doesn't make too much of a difference. Obviously it's near impossible to have everyone have a good day at the same time, but today looked like a pretty bad day for Rocky based off of their other stuff this season
Also remember that this year, with Great Oak, Rocky, Herriman, Davis, and Taylorsville, I think that team wise, this year was more competitive than the last two years. Considering that Rocky finished 4th last year, and 3rd this year, while still being overrated, I'm not writing them off from top 3-4 at NXR.
Rocky mountain was most likely doing a workout today, likely a hard threshold, as Bob Firman was not at the top of their priorities. They have more important races to focus on. Rocky Mountain clearly had the ability to win second.

Reminder that Rocky Mountain considers this their home course so much that they have dubbed it their fortress. They train on this course all the time. Imagine the difference if they went to Taylorsville’s home course.
I’m not sure what’s worse - the people who keep talking about the returners for next year (nothing is guaranteed) or the people trolling Rocky Mountain. Just focus on this year and the team(s) you support rather than trolling high schoolers and their coaches
Bodie Thomas had a great race. He was behind Lawrence at Woodbridge but beat him by 30 seconds at Bellevue, major upswing for them.
Lawrence had a 178 rating at Woodbridge but a 168 here. More like Bodie Thomas had a good race and Lawrence had a not great day.
Doesnt negate what I said at all. I dont typically like to say a high school athlete had a bad day. I'd much rather uplift the kid that did exceptionally well.
What are you conflicted with regarding Jesuit? Should be higher? Lower? Lots will be confirmed at hole in the wall. Going to go out on a lim and say I think Jesuit beats CDA at hole in the wall. They had a pretty solid performance last night 1-5. Looks like they now have a pretty tough front 3 and a really solid group of Juniors.
