this is like the ol "second wind" people would talk about. NO you didnt get a second wind, you ran too fast at the start, then slowed down, the HR came back down to a reasonable level, and you puttered on at the correct pace.

if you are too dumb to know when to breathe then I think you also need to spend time telling them when to blink.
