He never said the others were weak. Quite disrespectful of you to misquote him like this.
Why would he qualify this with excuses. Not getting injured is actually a part of training. Injuries are largely preventable. So if he gets injured - if its not an accident, it's his fault. just like his godawful tattoos.. Presumably.

Because it’s quite obvious that somebody who is not 100%, will not win. He knows though that when he is 100, he beats everyone all the time.

I like this scenario. There is more to that race than Jakob and Kerr. That's a problem track has- hyping two individuals and one of them doesn't make finals or really is sick or injured and can't run at all.
Although, I like Jakob, I like his arrogance because he's putting on a show and this could lead to some good coverage for NBC leading up to the race.

i don't think jakob was referring to paris. it seems he was referring to the euro championships.
