There were two recent threads that were really bad and left unattended/unlocked for too long.
The first was the Frank Csorba thread which almost instantly turned into a vaccine thread.
The second was the Cranny/Team Boss thread which had one loco poster saying some pretty heinous things.
What can we do to get these things locked/removed, etc. quicker?
The mods generally are going to see individual posts. Sometimes we need to take a step back and if a thread is getting a lot of posts, try and take a look at the thread as a whole instead of just the individual posts.
But on the surface we are fine with people discussing Frank or Cranny.
The insinuation that virtually every death of a young athlete is due to the covid vaccine has been a recurring theme for certain posters for three years. It's not a matter of stepping back and looking at that thread, rather it's systematic bad behavior across many thread over several years.

Yeah so what? Are you saying you want all of those posts deleted? Do you want only posts that you agree with?
What are you doing about Bots? I see a LOT of varying political posts posted with running tags that are incoherent and clearly posted by either foreign trolls or bots.
Instagram, X, facebook, youtube, etc…all have major issues with bot posts, spam, and fake accounts. They have large teams of engineers making $200k a year to try to combat this issue with little success.
You think a running forum has the capability to address bots? Really?

Additonally, there are random nonsense posts that open up threads that are over a decade old to sell some stupid scam or drive traffic to shady links.
Also, how do specific people get away with using attacking a certain group of people pretty consistently and never face consequences. (ex. I fully support Palestinians right to self govern etc. but someone with a newname seems to be able to post constantly about a certain group he claims controls the media and never faces any consequence. There is a nuance where you you can support people without targeting others)
Doesn't carmine live in Boston? But his writings are at least grammatically coherent.

Why can't we discuss myocarditis in young men?
WHO said that you can’t?

I miss Jamin. The 430miler also. There needs to be an effort to lure the older more interesting posters back and call out the current crop of bland and unoriginal posters.

Stoppit Smith is consistently angry and unfunny. Feel sorry for his neighbors, relatives, and anyone who comes into contact with this ill-tempered human.
1. Ban the most egregious trolls like Armstronglivs and rekrunner.
2. At minimum, restrict their posting to something reasonable like 2 - 3 posts per day and thread or 2 - 3 posts per page so they don't take over every doping thread by endlessly repeating the same nonsense and trading insults.
I've done a lot of the PED.debates with rekrunner over the years - he's not a troll nor does he intentionally personally attack anyone. Usually in many debates he eventually gets personally attacked & the whole thread gets derailed into immature, childish insults.
I think the nature of doping discussions particularly debating the efficacy of PEDs - like I've engaged with him many times - will involve many posts (studies, CAS hearings, athlete interviews, etc).
Keep in mind that doping threads are going to be one of the most hotly debated topics - especially with a high-profile athletes that are a fan favorites with a lot of people (e.g. Houlihan).
