I'm sure you just didn't read my post closely enough. No problem - it happens. To clarify - I quote myself...

By collegiate I, of course, meant NCAA runners, which means Broe, Webb, Goucher and Ritz don't count. My list (pulled from trackshark) was from going into the NCAA meet so you could use Hall and Dobson's updated PR's, as well as add a couple runners such as Willis and Moran to the list. Fair enough that makes seven which is still less than sixteen. My point was and is that there are more people in this world who can run 8:36 for two miles than can run 13:37 for 5k. But in no way does that diminish Nelson's accomplishments nor does it mean that Rupp is a better runner. It is what it is, and that is "what I'm talking about."
