I heard she was seen on crutches at the regional meet. Coaches talk with each other especially when it's one of the top teams.
one wonders why she would be at the regional meet showing injury unless the injury happened on-site?
Maybe just there to travel with the team and support? I wonder if it was bothering her at ACCs. Someone in another thread said its a navicular fracture. I think that is what Cook and Gregory had last year. If true its terrible news.

I think teams that live and train at altitude have an advantage in distance running.
On one hand, some may say, “duh, you are stating the obvious.” But on the other hand, I’m not sure people realize how big of an advantage, IF there is one (I think there is), there actually is.
And then, on the other hand, it’s not like I want people to feel bad that they are in a situation where they don’t get to train at altitude.

Hmmm…I wonder if any of these high level collegiates located at sea level sleep in an altitude tent?

Of course. I wonder how Mazza- Downie and Thorner perform now that they have switched to a sea level school from New Mexico. In Florida they do get 'poor mans altitude' heat training, so it will help them in the heat atleast.
Lemngole grew up at altitude and has been training in Iten for two years with the pros. So, perhaps she retains some benefit.

Yeah, to some degree. When the Oregon Project started, the had an altitude house.
I sometimes think Nike actually has held USA Pro Distance running back, because they selfishly did not one to pay for a permanent altitude training location.
Can you imagine if the University of Oregon was situated at altitude? Coupled with the Nike money, they would be THE perennial distance power school, in place of NAU.

Yeah. Nike should sponsor a pro group in based park city, flagstaff, Boulder etc. Kenya and Ethiopia train at altitude. Our top pros need to as well, to compete. Notice that Fisher and Cranny are moving to altitude now.
