Better yet... someone posted that Touhy "jogged" for 4k last year. Like I said, fans of both runners can be insufferable.

It was a much slower pace than she ran this year thru 4K. And she waited until the hill at almost 5K and in 1 minute put a huge gap on everyone. "Jog" may be an exaggeration but clearly running well slower than her capability.

You really need a life. Yes, there a couple of days when people were podcasting and projecting batsh*t crazy 5000 conversion times based on faulty algorithms and bad info that I myself pointed out when it became clear that the data was simply wrong. And some of the stuff regarding UF I stand by.

Last year I thought Valby looked a bit on the to thin side of things. She looked much stronger and healthier today. Will make racing in Va in a few weeks interesting
I have to say I noticed the same in the interview.
She looks unbeatable this year.
Valby appears to be at least 10 pounds of muscle heavier.
Maybe a couple pounds, if that. Elite collegiate women are relatively small, so 10 extra pounds of muscle on their frame would really stand out.
Parker will win NCAAs. She looks stronger this year. Katelyn at 5'3" is also short! Valby 4 inches taller and longer legs. Katelyn isn't good enough to go pro either. Addy Wiley at only 19/20 is seconds faster now than Katelyn. Is Addy drug tested by the way?
Tuohy has a good shot against Parker at Nationals.
That other person is a sideshow who does not deserve to be mentioned. I am sure her sponsorship is coming any day. :)
So, what about Rosina Machu from Gonzaga who dropped a 19:19 at Santa Clara Invite today? You might want to watch out for her, she looked like she was out for a stroll.
She’s much improved this year. She’s roughly a minute faster than Tuckwood now, and would be around 20:12 at Nuttycombe.

Last year the pace was 5:27 through 4k, and then she dropped it to 4:56. You decide.

Getting stronger through the core/hip-complex can significantly improve biomechanical running efficiency without packing on muscle.
