No inside information....just going on what is public....Henes said in an interview that Tyynismaa would race "later in the season". Tyynismaa is in photographs from practice just a few days ago running with the rest of the team around the track (as is Mariah Howlett).
She seems to be running with the "second" group - not the top runners.
Still building the base back up? As evident from team practice photos, she's been running since at least as far back as very early September. Have to think she could be back to form by end of October or mid November.
BYU still missing Clinger. We get Rooks debut though, hope he shows out hard, could turn nats into a 3 team race rather than a 2 if he turns into a top 10 threat this year.
NAU missing both Sahlmans (aaron isnt even in the b race, is he injured?) Weird that they would rest Colin Sahlman when his spot is the most in jeopardy with the rise of the other 6-9 runners on NAU. Quax, Nyoak, and Gorgas are all looking just as good as Sahlman this year.
Stanford resting Leo Young I guess but not Lex? Leo's spot in their 7 is assured, but I guess Lex still needs the experience.

My immediate thought was some of the missing might have minor injuries that they’d rather be cautious about.
and for those wondering Tuohy is listed among NC St 8 in championship race Samantha Bush [SR] Kelsey Chmiel [SR] Hannah Gapes [FR] Grace Hartman [FR] Gionna Quarzo [JR] Jenna Schulz [JR] Leah Stephens [FR] Katelyn Tuohy [JR]
but only Hendrix and Holt in "B" race - none of the freshman
Tyynismaa must still be injured. Hope she is ready for NCAA champs
Yeah sure, run one meet for the whole season, that's some tough stuff for sure and shouldn't be allowed. Why don't they all rest and just run regionals and the Championship race, eh?
Leo young not racing is strange unless he’s injured. he ran ok at Virginia but nothing amazing (yes he was second on the team but didn’t wow anyone). If Stanford is resting him, why him and not anyone else?
Anybody know if the PT Timing site got hacked? I tried to load the page and I got a weird verify thing. Tried again and it reloaded fine, but don't want to mess with it if messes up my computer.

Wut? You want a coach to race an athlete coming back from injury before she is ready? Why would a coach do that?
As an Ohio person I'm looking forward to how these Ohioans run today -
In the men's race, Alex Phillip of North Carolina and formerly of D3 John Carroll, Matt Scrape of Syracuse, Vince Mauri of Notre Dame and formerly of Arizona State, and Will Zegarski of Butler. Lucas Bons of BYU appears not to be running.
In the women's race, Sam Bush & Grace Hartman of NC State, Savannah Roark of Syracuse, Maddie Ullom of Penn State, Taylor Ewert of Michigan State and formerly of Arkansas (in B race). I saw no listing of Olivia Howell now at Texas and formerly of Illinois.

As Blank231 stated, do you believe that athletes should run if they're injured? Or are you just trolling?
