IMO, this big improvement can at least partially be attributed to the focus on her aerobic fitness that she has been working on for the better part of the past year. She probably could run ~15:15 now, though the 8 / 15 is where it's at for her. If she could somehow get a sub4 in the upcoming meets, that would be awesome!

Generally when someone goes from a high school pr of 2:04 to 1:57 while running for coaches credibly accused of doping athletes, I get suspicious. But she was undertrained.....lol.
