They both have basically the same progression, so why does Nordas get a soft-soap interview with LRC but Katir just gets shade from Rojo? They both went from 3:36 to 3:29 (or 3:28.76 in Katir's case) in one year but Rojo heavily implies he thinks Katir is cheating. What gives?
For one, Nordas is much more suspect. He has only one good performance, zero indication that he should even get close to 3:29. Especially considering he has a 1:58 800m pr and similar prs to a high level NCAA runner. #2 The page is full of Norwegian fanboys that know nothing about running and wouldn't be here if not to suck Jacobs nuts.
Nordas ran 1:58/800 at age 17 in 2015, in Bergen, almost 10 years ago! He's probably worth 1:48.0/1:49.0 or better now based on this present 1500 time. Bergen is a notoriously wet and windy place on Norway's West coast.
He's a 1500/5000/10,000 guy, not a 800/1500 guy, like Lewandowski. Big difference.
