Infled is not competing at BU. She is running the sound running cross champs (source: Emily’s comment on Citius mag Instagram post, all of the Sound Running promo). Nonetheless I think it will still be a great race, sure to be fast.

This article says Kelati's next race is merrie mile in Hawaii on December 10. I hope she is racing at BU...

Confusing huh? Why would pros put in an entry for a meet and have no intention of running there?
I wonder if that was an actual entry list.

Pretty excited to see how much Chmiel has improved. She ran 15:27 at this meet last year. Gregory just won a mountain championship. Should be good.

Not trying to sound negative but why are these seeds so aggressive. Last year there were like 12 girls under 15:40 in indoor for the entire season. This year there are like 30 girls seeded under that. Are these people just delusional, or do they really really believe in themselves. The 15:30 heat is like full of 15:59 girls.

Yeah and the 15 heat... a lot of those runners would be better served by a 15:15 or 20 pace. And the heat is huge. Predict a lot of lap traffic if the top runners do 15.

you're definitely right that the paces are aggressive in the heats. But there aren't many opportunities during an NCAA career where you get a bunch of "equal" talent all trying to time trial essentially and its paced through 3k for you. I doubt many of those girls in the 15:30 or 15:45 heats are thinking they are going to run those times, but if they can be on that pace through 3k maybe they can hang on for a new PR to be proud of.

you're definitely right that the paces are aggressive in the heats. But there aren't many opportunities during an NCAA career where you get a bunch of "equal" talent all trying to time trial essentially and its paced through 3k for you. There are 5 different pace heats for men, but 3 for women. Maybe they should have split the women up further.
