Only blacks are superior to any other race at anything.
In other words, you think black people are better at sports and inferior at "intellectual" tasks. If you're such an adult, why don't you say what you really mean instead of being coy? Just say that you think black people are, by and large, less equipped for the highly intellectual position of coaching a sportsball team than white people. I think we all know that the reason you aren't explicit is because it sounds bad and racist. And it is.
Is it sexist to say men are stronger than women?
The problem is the double standard. Why is it completely acceptable to announce that black athletes tend to be faster than anyone else but completely unreasonable and "RACIST" to suggest that foot speed and agility aren't the only measurable difference between the races?
I saw Flores on three different talk shows, how the guy ever got any NFL job is a...??? This is not Mike Tomlin, he never really answered anything he was asked, he talked around things.
Anyone else see that?

I don't think he did a great job either and I think the Rooney rule a garbage because it turns black candidates into token interviews, but by rule the Giants cannot decide on a candidate until they interview at least one minority candidate. Flore absolutely has a case here.
BTW, Flores is a heck of a lot more qualified than some of the coaches that keep getting rehired.
Why does he have a case? You really think BB, a guy the Giants hate, was getting inside leaks on the hiring process? He probably was told that the Giants were leaning towards Daboll or that he was the front runner. Do you really think John Mara called up BB and said "We are going to hire Daboll but we have to go through the motions and give a sham interview to your Flores guy before making it official. Whatever you do, don't tell Flores"?
You seriously don't think Belichick has any contacts inside the Giants organization? He heard the same information from the Bills, by the way. Which means Daboll probably already gave the Bills notice that he was leaving.
If you're on an NFL coaching staff and you have any aspirations of career advancement, you make friends with guys like BB. Besides, it's not like these guys are constantly at arms. They're competitive but off the field both the coaches and players are generally friendly with one another.

The man is clearly an idiot.
He was the linebacker coach at New England and he was given a job he wasn't even remotely qualified for.
You can't win in the NFL without a quarterback. You can't get a top flight QB unless you draft high. The notion that Flores is the first coach in history that was asked to lose on a mediocre team to build a brighter future is patently absurd.
Had Miami drafted Herbert instead of Tua he'd still have a job even if his skin was green.
Who are the "contacts" you think exist? The owners just cleaned house and fired the GM and coach so I am curious who these insiders are who have BB on speed dial to tell of impending hires.
You clearly don't know much about the NFL if you think that BB is buddying up with random coaches from other teams. The guy is about as curmudgeonly and insular as you get in the NFL. The idea that he is sitting back and throwing back drinks with quarterback coaches from other teams is laughable.
What are you talking about? Daboll was the offensive coordinator of arguably the best offensive team in Football for the last few years
Steve you are one of the lamest posters on here. The Dolphins just missed the playoffs and the organization is in shambles and hasn't been respected in years. Any coach hired here should be given at least a 5 year window to improve the team. Flores is easily a top 10 coach in the league. I can't even imagine how big of a loser you must be in the real world to be so small brained to not realize this. I can't even imagine being an emotional loser like you everyday but maybe this is why people like you are so unsuccessful in every aspect of life.

They didn’t need to tank to get Herbert. He was sitting right there when the Fins drafted Tua. Not Flores’s fault his GM whiffed. And the guy had a winning record the past two seasons with a bad QB and mediocre roster. Pretty impressive actually for a guy who “wasn’t qualified.”
It is a weird situation, a 6=7 team that OVIOUSLY has no chance at all of making the playoffs, what is more important, wining a few unimportant games or getting a chance to draft Billy Bob Bodine the 6-4 245 pound 4,5 sprinter with a rocket arm, who has never lost a football game,,,,ever,
I gotta go with ya ya do what is best for business.

Possibly the dumbest comment ever.
You do realize they don't know who gets drafted where before it happens right?
The Dolphins regressed last year and Tua is clearly not the answer at QB.
Hoping this actually leads to some real change in the NFL. Open your eyes if you're looking at this any differently. The NFL operates like the rest of America. A small number of white owners profit off of the labor of mostly non-white players. There should be more black coaches & black folks in positions of power in the NFL. The Rooney Rule is almost offensive at this point. Flores sounds incredibly credible. Let's see what happens over the next few years with hiring.

Half of the white owners do not consider themselves white

You're ignorant...
We elected Barack Obama because the country is all about keeping blacks down...
The NFL pays its players BILLIONS because the country is all about keeping blacks down...
The mayors of dozens major cities in America are black because the country is all about keeping blacks down...
The city councils and dozens of major cities in America are black because the country is all about keeping blacks down...
Is it conceivable to you that the answer to every question isn't "RACISM!!!"?
I really don’t get how the NFL is racist. African-American players are vastly over represented compared to the general population in the league and are paid more than 99%+ of the people in America.
As far as Flores getting fired goes- the NFL is a cut throat league, anytime your team doesn’t make the playoffs as a coach your head is going to be on the chopping block.
If the NFL is systemically racist against black coaches, how did 38 year old Brian Flores, who had never been a coordinator in the NFL or any other league, get one of 32 head jobs after being the linebackers coach for the Patriots for a few years?

Because... slavery?
You can't reason with people who think their illogical argument makes them a good person.

What are they?
There is a difference between pointing out that a high draft pick will help and wink wink don't try to hard, and paying to lose. The latter compromises the integrity of the game. The NFL needs to force a sale of the Dolphins and and take away some draft picks to save face. Similarly, the Giants need to lose their own first round pick this year (they can keep the one from the Bears).
