Why do Democrats have so little sympathy for people getting their feelings hurt? Where is your compassion? Bullying is not a nice thing.
Good point. We could start a whole thread on Gimi types complaining about a Ben Shapiro speech. All because their feelings were hurt.
Fock your feelings works both ways ??
Shapiro went on the BBC and cried too ?
Enjoy your loss losers.

I just don’t like “men” who fixate about their fake tan and sh!t hair.

I want my running shoe companies to make running shoes and not recommend BLM/Marxist propaganda that includes an underlying assumption that I'm racist and need these books/films to become anti-racist.
A general MLK holiday email would have been fine but pushing BLM/Marxist materials is a bridge too far. And it contributes to a mentality in this country that BLM/Marxist ideas should be heard and respected - which they shouldn't.
Saucony has put their name behind BLM/Marxists, and a cursory view of history ranging from the Soviet Union to the BLM riots this summer, makes this unacceptable.
I've worn Saucony for over 10 years (4-6 pairs per year) but my next pair will not be Saucony.
What excerpts from How to Be an Antiracist are Marxist propaganda?

What if they suggested Mein Kampf?
Where did I say that an American shoe company has hurt my feelings? I said I don't like the colours (i.e. Saucony Kinvara in vomit green with orange laces). But then again, you wouldn't know this because you have never run before.
How about I shove my size 10s up your ass and then lets see who's crying.
Don’t buy Columbia then either. Couple months ago the president denounced Trump and publicly said he will be supporting Biden. The IG post was titled TAKE A HIKE. It’s easy if you don’t like what companies say then don’t buy them. Problem solved. “When did everyone become so cynical” - Dwight Schrute

Not sure why exactly people think it needs to diversify. That’s the bureaucrats and the athletic manufacturers and networks talking - they just want to make a buck.
The sport/activity is what it is. If it’s only the white or wealthy that are interested in participating, then that’s what it is. All of this liberal advertising isn’t going to sway people to join in if they aren’t interested. Meanwhile, these virtue signaling companies run the risk of alienating their core audience.
Things that are good for society and running:
1. More people jogging and being healthier.
2. Getting to know your neighbors and community members through a shared activity.
3. Running companies making more money because they have more customers.
4. More people running and being interested in running.
5. The United States becoming more competitive in distance running by developing more talent in Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities.
1. True
2. True
3. True
4. True.
5. Talent can come from anywhere true, but virtue signalling by shoe companies isn't going to make a difference in those communities, in fact, it is more likely to alienate half of their potential customers and lose $$$. Btw,' Latinx' is liberal invented terminology that is not supported by the larger Latino community.

No, did you think I was Jared Kushner or a resident of Trump Heights?
I highly doubt Saucony actually cares about what they're spewing - does anyone really think the CEO spends his/her free time reading "How To Be An Antiracist." This is pure PR tactics, they know the destructive power of the left and they're trying to appeal to progressives because 1) they feel that that is the dominant ideology within the culture and appealing to that culture will earn them the most money and 2) so they can try and prevent a lawsuit incase one of their employees do something that leftist social media deems deplorable.
Good on them, I hope it works out for them, but this is such a sad display when companies are in fear of the ones who call themselves the most tolerant.

Hey guys. I’m curious to get some opinions, hopefully an insult free conversation, but I know how things work around here.
Going back almost a month, Saucony chose on Giving Tuesday to donate 25% of sales to Black Men Run, Inc. , and Black Girls RUN! Now, for example I have an email from PayPal on that same day. They were asking for donations to American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Feeding America, World Food Program USA, St. Judes Children Hospital, International Rescue Committee, Save The Children, American Lung Association, UNICEF USA, Habitat for Humanity, and CMN Hospitals. Besides already having a line of shoes where 10% of sales go towards She Should Run, a nonprofit organization that supports female leadership in politics.
Today’s email Honoring Martin Luther King Jr. day shouldn’t have come as a surprise. But the suggestion of what to read, including: How To Be An Antiracist, So You Want To Talk About Race along with others, suggestion of what to watch: Black Panther, I Am Not Your Negro, along with others, Who To Follow: NAACP, Check Your Privilege, along with others was just a bit much for me.
As a white male, I’m not sure how Saucony expects me to feel right now. I’m on your email list to see what’s new and hopefully get a 20% coupon once in a while. This isn’t what I’m looking for from my running shoe, so because of that we’re done. I’m not sure when all these businesses decided they needed to have their opinion heard. Michael Jordan said it best “Republicans buy sneakers, too”
The magic of living in a capitalistic and free society is that you can simply not buy their products or read their newsletter. Boom, problem solved.

Wow, this thread just shows me how irreconcilable American society is. You people hate each others guts. In a forum about running shoes.
Maybe leftist should just have kneel everybody down for black people before a race to weed out the racists. So you can have separate races too!
If your a bigot just say that.

Why would you bump a thread from 3 years ago to add this drivel? If you're going to do that, at least spell "you're" correctly.
As an aside, these threads are ridiculous. This one was started by a snowflake and his perception that a company is "woke." "Woke" companies trigger weak snowflakes.
Anyone still subscribed to Saucony email to confirm if they are still pushing this now that the political climate and public opinion has shifted?
I wouldn't be surprised if they just ditched all of this, keep in mind companies only do this to line their pockets more. They have no moral standards, they would support slavery if it was popular enough and would make them more money.
