I didn't verify, but weren't 3 world records set and didn't 5 guys run faster than any runner in the entire NCAA did for the whole season 10 years ago?
Possibly, but will they all drop 30 or more in a month or two? When people are really good I know if gets harder to have big time drops, but when almost the whole field has big time drops, you have to be skeptical...
And almost everyone ran a PR.
Shouldn't that be the case for guys that are in great shape after their fall build up?
But Ward still thinks some American high schoolers running faster than the fastest American high schooler is more impressive on a what is clearly a faster XC course?
It is very impressive how fast the NP guys ran, and many others! When did I ever say what happened at the Running Lanes course was the more impressive than the track records recently set?
A track is a track but those track results, oh well.
No. NCAA even has time conversions for some tracks.
Five guys who have never visited this course want really badly for it to be short rather than telling their kids or athletes or friends that the future of American running looks bright.
I already know the future of American distance running is bright, and I just want verification of the course length, what's wrong with that? I have stated numerous times that I really hope that course is on. But until it is measured properly, we can only speculate.
