She's totally a Democrat.
The local view there is that the police are doing nothing to prevent the riots and damage to businesses.
She fears that helps Trump as people are mad about the destruction and take Trump's view.
I'm not sure about that.
My response is there will be a hundred more news cycles between now and the election and these protests will be a small part of the total consideration.
I'm pointing this out because PA is a swing state and Hillary had that in bag. Trump winning there was a shock.
I'm pretty sure Biden will easily win PA but the locals have a different perspective. He must win big in Philly to outnumber the more rural and industrial parts of PA.
Nothing is guaranteed.

I suspect that a majority of people affected by looting will blame the protesters, but that may not necessarily translate to voting for trump. I think many recognize that he incited violence instead of trying to calm the anger, so is he really looking out for those business owners?

But I will never forget that I suspected that Trump would not get the Republican nomination and I suspected that he would not win the 2016 general election.
I also suspected that racism was down in 2008.
People cannot get complacent and assume Trump will lose.
They have to vote as if Biden is a close underdog.

Yes, I expect something like that. But for the general election, the Commission on Presidential Debates sets the rules, time, place, etc. So complaints about the media will be utter nonsense.
