getting 2nd and 4th isn't what I would call not showing up
When they came in at 1 and 2 it is. Still a good race. Track will be a different animal. IWU has depth over all events. Quite a few other schools rely heavily on distance and lack depth in other events.
Looked like a good nationals race for both men and women. Some teams definitely showed up and a few under performed. All the hype for Milligan men and women and neither showed up.

Maybe the Milligan women were a little bit of a let down, but to say the men didn't show up when they held the lead from the 4k-7k splits of the race and only lost by nine points is quite disingenuous. Maybe give College of Idaho some credit?

College of Idaho showed out, I was not expecting to see them get 4 all Americans.

Kudos to the College of Idaho for holding it down. Leading 4k-7k is impressive but it only matters at that 8K. Milligan still had a good season but loses a lot after this year.

No beef. Just get tired of kids on a program bragging all season and can't back it up when it matters. The humble programs sit back and let their work show when it matters.

Bob what do you define as showing up when it matters? Because in the last 4 years on the men’s side they’ve finished 1st-2nd-1st-2nd at Nationals. Do they have to be the 1960’s Celtics rattling off 8 in a row?
