Let me be clear. The 8/31 part is bogus. Biden will still be working to get Americans out after that if any are really left there (probably will).

But if Biden actually left people there who wanted to get out then, yes, America would have a meltdown and that's why it won't happen.

It really depends on the number of people and when. There will inevitably be some stranded due to particular personal circumstances. FOX will rejoice. There is no possible way the US can guarantee that every single American in Aghanistan who doesn't make it to the airport gets home safely. But the american public is not expecting that. They are expecting a good faith effort to get everybody out, which Biden is delivering.

Also, understandably she's in fear, but perhaps she should not be as the Taliban has been letting Americans through checkpoints on their way to the airport. Sounds like she's just frozen in fear, but justifiably the US government can't resort to chauffeuring thousands of people directly from their residences to the airport. People have had a year and a half to prepare for this exit.
