I think it will indeed even out to some extent. Texas might never be hit as hard as NYC because of population density. But Texas will get hit pretty hard if they stay open. You can only beat the odds for so long.

There is always an element of randomness that decides where a large outbreak will occur. An infected person has to be in the right place at the right time. He infects several others who in turn are in a position to infect several others, etc.
Of course, the odds of creating a hotspot increase in a place like a meat packing plant. But because it is still a somewhat random process, not all meat packing plants get hit.
The same thing is true on a macro level. Some entire states will get hit hard and some won't. Policy can change the odds, but there will still be an element of randomness.

Reade has pretty much dropped off the radar. I don't see how people can believe her story without seeing her interviewed on national T.V. by someone that leans left or right. How can an effing podcast be enough?
The reason I believed Blasey Ford is that no sane person would be willing to make a false accusation in a confirmation hearing.
The stakes for the Reade accusation are 100 greater times greater than for Kavanaugh. If he had not been confirmed, Trump would have nominated the next guy on list and the affect on the Supreme Court would have been the same. Reade's accusation could result in 4 more years of Trump. A podcast is not good enough.
