Lets just completely ignore them breaking Holmdel course record and almost getting Bowdoin course record. Also decimated previous CBA time trial averages of teams that have won or podium at NXN. Not to mention that 10:24 or smth avg at holmdel is diabolical. Luke “Cheddabob” Hnatt didn’t even race it and hes a 9:10 2 mile sophomore. Pipe down you don’t want the smoke. Joey Burr Barrett is about to shatter everyones dreams.
I know they don't want to hear this and northeast is all about racing difficult courses but it would be really cool if they went to woodbridge. It's the big meet in the west, and all the top northwest, south, california, and herriman from the southwest and some other southwest teams will be there.
or Bob firman? Difficult course and Herriman will be there
Firman is a tricky course. It's way more technical than one would think. The start is bumpy, and then the backside of the course is dusty and has a hard hairpin 1k into it after a short uphill. You drop back down pretty much immediately before you slowly climb a minor hill that drops down onto a beach with loose sand before you go up a little roller and then up the big hill. The descent is not fast, and then you get onto a trail that repeats the previous loop. The finish is on uneven ground.
Elijah Armstrong ran 15:19 on it his junior year and got 6th at Footlocker Nationals. He ran 15:06 on it his senior year and got 3rd. Nathan Green only ever ran 15:10 on it.

oh no there is a hairpin turn that is soooo difficult how will i ever be able to turn my body sooooo difficult.

The hairpin turn is even harder than a traditional hairpin because the way they lay the flags out to mark the course means that you cannot grab onto anything while hitting a sharp turn on very loose dirt.
Also at Firman especially, and sometimes NXR, the course gets VERY dusty.
keep talking bro you're just making every school in the country hate you even more.
niwot is classy
herriman is classy
american fork is classy
carroll is classy
heck even newbury was classy
CBA however is a bunch of d-bags
Let’s keep the hate and competitiveness off this forum, save it for the races. 🙏 The letsrun modding community will close the forum if it gets out of hand (similar to what they did the nxn girls forum). I just want to talk see and talk about xc results here 👍
or at least runnerboy69 is making them look that way. Hope he is just some jv kid talking and his teammates figure out who and tell him to zip it. He is making it hard to endear CBA which is sad.
really got them here buster, im sure cba read this and decided it was time to back off and get serious (if its even anyone on cba’s top 7). grown man hating on some high schoolers is honestly dispicable.
Someone forgot to tell Jesuit they can have seniors on varsity. They do need 4+5 to step up though. But overall a solid first race for them. I haven't checked if they withheld anyone but I would not be surprised if they did.

Jesuit didn’t have junior Donnelly, who ran a sub-9 3k in track, and was the 7th nonsenior in cross last year.
Their top returner was only #4 on the team today which might not be a great sign for them. Now I wonder where their top guy will finish at NXR.
They only have 2 seniors on varsity this year, but last year they had 2 juniors, 3 sophs, and 2 seniors on there.
Next year I think they will have 5 seniors on varsity if they all come back and healthy
