Tony Brown is the perfect head coach for UCF. He spent a few years working along side of Caryl Smith Gilbert at UCF as assistant coach. He knows how to coach both running events and field events. He has spent most of his life in the state of Florida and knows how to recruit the state. This hire is a no brainer for UCF. they would be lame not to hire Tony Brown.
South Carolina job was filled at NCAA's (no announcement yet but fact)
OU job is going to bring out some surprise names as final candidates.
With a budget like they have its going to bring out the best.
Great news!!! Rumor is Martin Smith is headed to Wisconsin after a 1 month stop at ISU. Details and contract nearly compete. Remember, he was at Wisco years ago.

Do HBCU Head coaches get an opportunity for any of the Head jobs at PWC schools? I have seen plenty do well, but can't seem to move to the big schools. If they are doing well wehere they are with less of a budget, imagine what can happen with a great budget and facilities.

not so fast on that. Sategna named head track coach of combined program at Texas, interim head coach, Rose Brimmer turned down an associate head coach position. Odds are that Hayes will take that position. No positions advertised on Texas site:
