And why no reference to the shoving in the Letsrun article on the 5000? Rojo was all over Jakob in the heats for his conduct. Did gjert pay Letsrun off in the interim? The complete change in tone is ridiculous.

I am responding to the SENSATIONAL 5k thread.

It appears as though other threads were combined to make this one.

It was a sensational race! Very exciting with numerous lead changes and fast times. Eight guys in it with 600 to go.

6 guys in it at the bell.

Praise to Edris and Barega for being patient and their medals.

Praise to Paul C. and Jakob I for truly going for it, even if they died in the end and it did not work out for them. There is no shame in trying to put your face in the race when its a global championship, and reaching your limits.

Praise to Ahmed for a well deserved bronze after pushing the pace, and for pacing guys slower than him in the special 5K in OR.

Interesting to see Bekele celebrating his contribution to Ethiopian success, even though he was 4th

Look at the fast times, and remember this was run in high heat and humidity.

Lots of other finishers suffered as best they could, praise to them.

Mega props to Jakob. Let's hope he gets a medal in the 1500 but he gave it his all. Had the lead, totally collapsed at the finish.
