Athletes are pros in your view, but they are students, some are working and some are full-time athletes.

If you are not from the USA the ncaa just look strange.

Can you still be a drug cheat and run in ncaa, or did they change the rule??

I am not saying it is just bad, just strange. Also, I do not trust ncaa when it comes to doping.

Do you really think Coleman would be running 9.82 if he didn't have the NCAA system to motivate him? No. The NCAA gives you goals to focus on. Being a pro is hard, there is only really one goal. The coach doesnt' have all the power really anymore. The kid can transfer. He can go pro. And letting the coach have all of that power may actually be good for the athlete. Gives them structure.

I am surprised that Salazar, who's obsessed with form, hasn't tried to change her. Her form is still godawful. Could be she just has really poor upper body strength like Farah used to.
