Actually, I have further thoughts on this question. If it's legal and both parties are consenting, who cares. Let people do what they want. There are worse things in the world we should be concerned about.
So update: 18yo girl came over for a movie and ended up spending the night. We both felt weird about it the next day and decided not to hang out anymore. She texted me stuff today though, so we might still hang out again, just probably not for awhile. Despite her age, she's pretty grounded, so she was never thinking of some fantasy where we get married blah blah blah. I like her, but of course the dynamic is very different than with women I date who are 25 or older. It's been an interesting and educational experience regardless.
Get after it, man. Any other time in human history this would be a celebrated triumph. Don't let the prudes get you down. Go and split that hoof. Hard.
I made a rule with myself a few years ago that I would not date teenagers any more, partially because I found most of them to be extremely annoying and partially because I often felt like I was taking advantage of their naivety and inexperience. Well, I recently met an 18yo girl who actually seems really smart and mature, and we've had a lot of fun together so far. She works at place I regularly visit for coffee, and we've always had a fun time just chatting and flirting here and there until recently when I finally asked her for a sitdown conversation. She was really happy about me asking, and we ended up talking for over 3 hours. It's pretty clear to both of us there's a spark there. I'm having pretty mixed emotions about it though, like it just seems morally wrong. I also feel kind of like a loser, but maybe I'm just imagining things?
What are your thoughts on all of this?
Yes, it's wrong you creep. Two years age difference max for a man. Women can date younger men because it's a whole different power inherental structure in a patriarchy.

Well we have a world where people don't ask, or are not allowed to ask anymore about interracial relationships or gay relationships. Why should a difference in age matter? You can procreate. If you're 67 and she's 17 and your plumbing works it should be fine. Ageism is worse than racism.

Patriarchy, huh? That might be relevant in Saudi Arabia, but the entire "West" is a matriarchy with systemic privilege for women and oppression for men, in education, employment, media, culture, etc.
However, for marriage material, give it LOTS of TIME with much younger ladies. Until people are 30yo, they change a lot. It's called life experience tempering one's outlook. It's the reason I would like to see the voting age raised to 30yo.
